Saint James defeats Potomac 13-7 in MAC lacrosse tournament final

Saint James defeated Potomac School 13-7 on Friday on their home turf at Turner Field to win a second straight MAC lacrosse championship. The Saints finished with 12-3 overall and 6-0 in MAC play during the regular season to earn home-field advantage as the top seed in the MAC playoffs. After a first-round bye, the Saints defeated Sidwell Friends 22-4 in the semi-final round, earning the right to defend their title at Turner Field. Potomac, runners-up during the regular season, defeated Georgetown Day in the first round and Flint Hill in the semi-finals to advance to the championship game.
