Sidwell Friends wins sixth straight MAC Tennis title

Sidwell Friends captured their sixth consecutive Mid-Atlantic Athletic Conference tennis title with a 7-0 sweep of Potomac School in the MAC tournament final, completing the match over Thursday and Friday due to rain delays. Sophomore Akshay Mirmira secured a key 6-0, 7-6 (7-5) victory at No. 1 singles after resuming a tightly contested match Friday. The remaining six matches were won decisively, with the Quakers dropping just 10 games total.
