Potomac School wins 3rd straight MAC Cross Country title
Potomac School secured its third consecutive MAC title at the Mid-Atlantic Athletic Conference Cross Country Championships on October 26th at the Agricultural History Farm Park in Derwood. The Panthers also took the individual title in a thrilling finish as junior Luke Carter, trailing in second place, surged down the final stretch to win with a time of 16:37.79. James Mirembe of Saint James finished second at 16:41.18, while Potomac's Noah Altschuler followed closely for third in 16:42.33. Potomac placed five runners in the top ten for a score of 24 points, ahead of Georgetown Day (45 points) and Sidwell Friends (97 points).
